|
| There are two kinds of garage doors ; tilt-up doors and sectional roll-up doors. Sectional roll-up doors are more expensive but worth it.
To open Tilt-up doors one need to pull the single panel of material out and pivot it up to slide it along the roof. However sectional roll-up doors, has a number of horizontal sections, each is hinged to the next section. To open sectional Roll-up doors one just need to lift the door. The Sectional roll-up doors are more expensive but open much faster, cutting down the waiting time on your driveway.
AUTOMATIC DOORS Automatic doors are the most convenience systems with many advantages. Perhaps the most important part of the system is the motor. You should choose a motor with enough power to raise your door and it should slow down while start up and stop for safety and minimizing the voice. There are two kinds of controller, remote controller and fixed controller. The remote controller may have more than one button in case of a number of garage doors. The fixed controller is mounted to the wall near the door and allows you to control your door without a remote controller. All automatic doors have safety features mandated by federal law to prevent accidents. When the door hit something it changes its direction. Recent doors use random codes for security. To prevent theft, a new code is generated, each time you open the door by your remote control. New generation doors are more expensive but they are safe, easy to install and use. |
